Cap construction on top of skis and sidewalls over edges blends the light responsiveness with the durability and solid feel of sidewalls. Core consists of light and strong maple wood stringers surrounded by aspen wood to provide power, stability and long-lasting responsiveness. Die-cut metal laminate enhances edge-grip under foot and increases torsional responsiveness in the tips. Skis stiffen progressively from tip to tail, resulting in easy flotation, powerful acceleration out of turns and increased stability. Rockered tips float effortlessly in deep powder; relatively low rise planes through powder instead of plowing up and over. Geometry of skis incorporates 5 different turn radii to create effortless turn initiation with solid edge hold and responsive exits. You'll notice the grippy feel of these skis on hardpack thanks to the extended length of the edges. Directional twin-tip design slightly favors skiing forward. Doubled thickness of a standard base and edges adds significant durability and impact resistance, and it lets you tune your skis many times throughout the season.
