Lib Freeride NAS Skis - Men's - 2011/2012
Count on the Lib Freeride NAS skis to bring versatile, high performance wherever you explore. Built for days that take you all over the mountain, these skis excel on variable terrain, and they'll hold their own on powder days. Wood core creates a lively feel and responsive flex, and layers of fiberglass in the core enhance power and pop. Magne-Traction offers 7 contact points on each side of the ski, resulting in remarkable control regardless of snow conditions. Bumps in front and behind your feet are progressively less aggressive, transferring control and power from the tip and tail to your feet. The result is tips and tails that don't catch as often, increased control during freestyling maneuvers and fewer falls. Extra edgehold that results from Magne-Traction partially compensates for the grip you lose when you tune your skis to prevent hang-up on rails, boxes and ledges. Rockered tips and tails initiate turns easily, and standard camber underfoot maintains edge grip during a turn as the bend in the ski is flattened under pressure. Directional twin tip delivers high responsiveness when skiing forward and lets you land the occasional switch landing. Sintered base is not only fast, it's durable and highly wax absorbent: you'll spend less time in maintenance and more time riding. The Lib Freeride NAS skis feature a topsheet that uses oils from the castor bean plant.
