Uppers feature 2.8mm greased Idro-Perwanger silicone-impregnated leather, which is highly water-resistant, breathable and extremely abrasion resistant. Special flex system is integrated into the uppers around the ankles, maximizing support while still allowing flexibility. Supple leather linings offer excellent in-boot comfort and facilitate easy entry and exit. Polyurethane and EVA midsoles offer resilient, supportive cushioning and shock absorption for long days with heavy loads. Lightweight nylon shanks deliver torsional rigidity, stability and protection under pack loads and on uneven terrain. La Sportiva Pamir hiking boots feature Vibram® rubber outsoles with Impact Brake System™ to handle wet, dry and off-trail routes equally.
