Really happy with these comfy pants. As noted by another reviewer, loose but not baggy. Haven't had to use the cinch at the ankles, but nice feature to have. I do like the pockets, especially the side zip pocket. Not so the little "watch" pocket, which is too tiny for anything bigger than a stick of gum.

greatest pants ever
These are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn. They are stretchy so they move with you perfectly. They are light and dry fast. Plenty of pockets and a gussetted crotch that is great when squatting.They are great hiking pants, I only wish they could make the same material in a zip off version.

Very comfortable
I have worn these several times, they are loose but not to baggy. I've worn them while doing yard work, hiking, fishing, and camping. They feel good all day long and dry off in decent time also.

I bought these pants after reading about the Kuhl Raptr convertible version in a popular backpacking publication. While REI to date isn't offering this version I thought I would give these a try.
