Fabric provides UPF 50 sun protection, helping to shield skin from harmful ultraviolet rays. Legs cinch up and secure with drawcords that are housed inside the cargo pockets. Back pockets and cargo pockets feature snap-flap closures; 1 cargo pocket has a cell phone pocket inside and the other has an elastic key clip. Zip fly and double-snap closure; zip-close hand pockets. Kuhl Kaya pants hug higher in the back and dip slightly in the front.
