The lightweight and responsive KIALOA Pupu™ stand up paddle makes it easy to enjoy your new sport. Fiberglass shaft feels warm to the touch and offers a bit of flex on every stroke. Fiberglass blade works for all types of water. Specialized manufacturing process combines the strength of thermoplastic polymers with the performance of fiberglass fiber in both shaft and blade. The KIALOA Pupu features a comfortable ABS plastic grip that fits right into the palm of your hand.

All-around Great Paddle

This is a great paddle and as one of the cheaper options at REI, I think it's the best. I also have the QuickBlade equivalent to this and hands down would recommend the Pupu to anyone looking to start out in the sport. The handle is great and fits nicely into my palm and the blade is solid and doesn't feel too flexible in the water when I dig deep. Overall, this seems like a great choice. Plus, the green blade really pops and is a nice alternative to the simply black construction of other paddles.
