Keen Whisper Sandals - Women's

I bought these shoes because I was going to the Sierra's and doing alot of kayaking. These shoes were great getting from the car to the launch site with kayak. In the sierras dealing with tree roots and uneven ground, my feet were secure. With flip flops my feet would have been sliding around. Once in my kayak, I took them off and let them dry on the deck. Also, another time just going for a casual walk...turned into a 3 mile follow the Rush Creek stream through mud and wet stuff, these shoes did the job. Your feet get dirty, but what the heck your outdoors! I love these shoes and would recommend them to anyone looking for an all around shoe you can get wet.

Bought these shoes to wear at the beach and go hiking. They were the perfect shoe to wear in the water and then hike the trails. Very comfortable and supportive. I am tending to wear them instead of my walking shoes as they feel so good and my feet keep cooler. I usually wear a 9 but the 9.5 fit much better.

I bought these before a trip to the PNW - I wore them everyday, very comfortable and had that already broke-in feeling. They dry quickly too.

My wife wore them fresh out of the box through the airports, and to our destination of Denver, Colorado. She wore them on our Fern Lake Trail hike in the Rocky Mountain National Park, and nearly everywhere else in Denver. She wears between an 8 and 7.5 in gym shoes, and she went with the 7.5 in the Keen so it would fit snug and not wiggle. Clearly you don't want it too tight though. She loves them!

Darn, I bought the wrong shoes! Keens "Whisper" just don't fit like my old (2 pairs of) Keen sandles. Bummer. I bought what I thought is my size, returned them, bought the next size smaller, headed out on a trip thinking they'd be great, but alas, they really don't fit. Since one of the folks at REI told me that the worst customer returns are shoes-People wear their purchases and then have the cheek to return them. So, I'm stuck. I will write Keen, REI is not responsible for this SNAFU.

I love these sandals.Bought them right before a road trip to Arizona and Utah, where I knew a lot of hiking (and water hiking through the Narrows in Zion!) would be done. I barely took these off. They were perfect for everything--walking, hiking, jogging, all of the above through water (nothing like the scare of a potential flash flood to get you jogging through the narrows..). I needed a pair of sandals to wear on a trip that included a lot of walking. I bought these hoping I could break them in before the trip. No break-in necessary; they were comfortable from the beginning. I haven't gone on the trip yet, but I have no reservations about wearing these. I don't think I'll do any trekking in them, but for a full day of walking, I'll slip these on.

I have a pair of these Keens from 7-8 years ago and finally decided its time to get a new pair. I normally wear a size 8.5, and these were true to size (although my last Keens I had to get a half size smaller).I wear these everywhere- hiking, walking around the beach, kayaking, biking - super comfortable and versatile. My last pair I took with me on my yearly trips to Europe and always came in handy for walking, trails and excursions. I would have to say my Keens have been the most versatile and worthwhile shoe I have ever owned!

I wear these to work, biking, hiking, almost any time or any place. I have several pairs of Keens, and love them all. I wore out the first pair of Whispers after several years and many miles on them. They are comfortable and look nice with shorts, jeans, or dresses.

Keen sandals are such a fun new orange color. Extremely comfortable, even for long days. Easy to get on and off and so lightweight. Great for travel when weight is a consideration these days in planes.
