My Most Favorite Hiking Boots
I have two other pairs of hiking boots ... A very old pair of Reichle and a new pair of Merrell. I've tried numerous times to wear them hiking in the Sierra Nevada mountains, around Lake Tahoe trails and the Desolation wilderness. Each and every time I've come home with enormous blisters - Sometimes even overlapping. I've tried different socks with no improvement. I spent some time talking with the sales clerk at our local REI store

Love 'em
This is my second pair. Only difference was the sizing. I had to go down one half size since the last time I bought them. I have wide feet and they are the ONLY boots that are comfortable on me. I know people with reg width feet and they love them, also.

Excellent Boots!
I bought these boots brand new and broke them in on my first day of climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. Not recommended I know, but these boots were fantastic. No blisters, comfy, and supported me on the whole climb. Very happy with my purchase!

Right out of the box
Used for the first time right out of the box to hike the Georgia section of the AT (Springer to Deep Gap, NC) - no blisters at all. WOW!
