Took some work, but now a great shoe
I don't like having my toes cramped into a hiking shoe, because that guarantees blisters. So I buy a size 8 instead of 7.5, to get the extra width in the toe box. But then the shoe is too long and my foot slips forward going downhill (even with my Superfeet insole). This Keen shoe runs wide and with the extra half size, my toes are completely happy. Best hiking boots ever
Bought these hiking boots for national jamboree. Walked between 10-15 miles/day for 12 days. Best investment I made for this trip!

Third Pair of Keen's
I bought these to go on safari in Africa. They should work great. I will then use them for hiking in Italy. My keen hikers are not needed for this trip so I am happy to have the low cuts. My keen sandals are not quite stable enough for hiking. These are great.

Not durable
The product provides great confort and traction as the products from these brand are expected. The main problem was that the sole heavily wore off after 50 miles of moderate trekking. The design and materials for the sole need to be revisited.
