Not like other Keen shoes
My feet turn in the shoes when in the mountains on boulders, soft tundra, side hills etc.. Other Keen low hikers and even the Keen sandals work better than these. This shoe could not be tightened in a way that holds the foot on uneven or soft terrain, any attempt to tighten resulted in numbness or pain. I noticed a fellow hiker had the same shoe, her review is the same as mine. If you hike on fairly even trails this shoe will probably be fine but for any off trail hiking I would sugg

Great Entry Level Hiking Shoe
After taking my girlfriend on several backpacking excursions, she was able to see that the sneakers she had been wearing did not prove to be adequate in the backcountry. Most comfortable hiking shoes ever
We are traveling to Peru, and need hiking gear. I have been "breaking these in" which wasn't at al necessary. These shoes are extremely comfortable, provide ankle support, are great on damp ground (was in a mine with dripping water and wet rock). I am a true 8, medium width and they were absolutely true to size. The shoe is flexible but provides support and the traction of the soles is exceptional. I highly recommend these.

Very comfortable!
These shoes have room in the toe box for my toes to be comfortable despite my neuroma. Other shoes begin to hurt after a short hike. These are rugged but not restrictive and tight. I look forward to hiking in comfort!

Cured my sore feet!
I bought these shoes 1/2 size bigger than my normal size, took out the footbed and added Super Feet. I have arthritis in my big toe which was creating some issues with the rest of my foot and now I feel that my foot is stabilized. And, my toes are no longer cushioned with bandaids! I am back to every day hiking averaging 35 miles a week. Love the wide toe box and the comfort.

Very comfortable with good support
