Slipped its bungee
A month after purchase, the clasp that holds the bungee broke while my son was on the playground at school. The bungee was lost too as a result. This is his second pair. We were very happy with the durability of the first pair. He loves the shoe. They do get stinky!

Great Shoes.
Shoes are good fit. I'm used to the looser feeling Venice shoes. I had a pair of Venice for a long time. Played softball in them, ran in them, they were my everyday shoes as well. When the soles started to wear after a few years I gave them to the dog. It took him a while before he could destroy them. He has no problem ripping his toys apart but not the Keens. I expect these Newports to wear long, but will probably use them less.

Tough stuff!
My two kids have each gotten a new pair of these every spring for the past few years. In Houston, they can pretty much wear these from March or April on into October. And they last and last, which is why we keep on buying them.

Great fit and value
The shoes were a hit with my oldest son. He was excited to wear them to camp. He has been wearing Keens for 6 years and these did not dissapoint. The new color was a great addition. My son has wide feet and these fit him well.

Loved that these shoes were large for size since I was able to buy a youth size instead of a more expensive adult size for my daughter. She loves them & her best friend got a matching pair--How could it get better?
