Great boot, ages fast
After 75 miles on trail, off trail, scrambling scree, boulder hopping, and rugged use, I give these boots a big yes. After having numerous pairs of good quality boots, eg. Asolos, Zamberlan, all of which gave me blisters with any kind of serious use, these Keens are treating me right: NO blisters! Perhaps that's because they're made like the shape of the foot: wider for mid-foot & toes than heels, duh! What a relief to be beyond moleskin and that extra pain! On the performance side, they are a rugged boot that does all I ask, and give me both traction and protection when I need it, with good ankle support and pretty much broken in out of the box.I'd order 1/2size larger.That said, at 3 lbs. these are not ul

comfortable but short lived
Was very happy with the boot for 8 months. Then noticed the rubber around the sole began cracking and separating, Park Ranger stated "not too many boots can handle the dry air and high temps of Big Bend Texas."
