Good Boots
These are a great set of boots. I used them immediately on a 60 mile trek in the Andes and came out without any blisters. I could never find a boot that fit me just right and when I put these on, it felt like Cinderella fitting into her glass slippers.I have approximately 300+ miles on these and they are going strong, remain supportive, and are extremely comfortable. The wide toe box and hard rubber toe are one of my favorite parts.I do want to note that they are not completely water proof. The leather tends to absorb water and makes the boot feel "wet and cool." I treated my boots with some waterproofing wax. While it darkened the leather, it gave it much better w

Great hiking boot
This is a great boot. I wear a size 7.5 shoe but ordered this boot in a size 8. It fits perfectly. I used it on a two week vacation which included a lot of hiking. It was very comfortable and waterproof.

Overall a good pair of boots
These boots are a good, solid pair of boots. I've taken them on a few weekend car-camping trips that involved a good bit of hiking and found them to be reliable and comfortable.

Comfortable!
I wear these boots as a utility locator, I am walking through varying terrain all day and they are very comfortable the whole time! Unfortunately

Great fit; Great feel
I have extra wide feet, so it was great to find a lightweight hiking boot that fit immediately. Comfortable right out of the store and continued to feel that way for the next 50 miles of hiking with same significant elevation changes. Got them a bit wet with some ankle-deep creeks and a bit of snow - but haven't really put them to the test yet. Thus far, I am very happy with these boots.

Good for the money/ankle spt & light
Recreational hiking. Good ankle support & light weight. Not as durable as my Italian made Vasque Sundowners which are no longer available.

Good boot at a good price
I wear this boot for frequent day hiking in Glacier Park and other locations in Montana and the mountain west. The boot is light and has a wide toe box that fits my foot well. Other boots in this class (day hiking) are narrower and less comfortable (and more expensive) for me.I replaced 25-year old light-weight Vasque boots reluctantly when they fell apart on a recent visit to Yosemite. The person who fitted me at REI in Reno, NV could not have done a better or more careful job - she was great! As a result, I got a comfortable boot that meets my hiking needs at a good price.

We do a lot of hiking and walking with our dogs, often on asphalt or concrete pathways which usually give me a lot of trouble. This shoe, with after market insoles installed, does not create the soreness I have had in other shoes. I have a high arch and many shoes and other Keens feel tight and uncomfortable. Usually I have to have wide widths, but not so wi

First time I had no blisters
Just back from four weeks on the PCT in southern California. First PCT backpack that didn't give me blisters after the first week: The wide toe box was fanastic, and I got the boots 1/2 size larger than normal.Lacing technique is critical: Keep it very loose at the toe to avoid toe blisters, but very tight around the ankle to avoid heal blisters and for good traction. The latter would be much easier with two pairs of ankle eyelets instead of one.Durability would be enhanced by using metal eyelets instead of fabric eyelets on the foot part of the boot. Not meant for heavyweight backpacking or mountaineering, but great for the PCT if you need more suppor

I love these boots.
This is my second pair of these boots. I belong to a hiking club so I put about 20 miles a week on the boots. I got a year and a bit out of the first pair, and they are still good enough for hanging out around the house, neighborhood or camp... but the tread is getting a bit long in the tooth for a day on the trail. Grabbed the next pair off the shelf on the fly on the way up to a camp in nothern Michigan. (because I don't always trust that fit will be true to the last pair) ***As far as fit goes, Keen tends to run a tad short. I found I had to go up a half size to full size but once you figure this bit out, the fit is consistant from my last

Blister Free, except for Extreme Downhil
I was able to get these boots broken in fast: I wore them around camp on a two day car-camping trip, then I took them on a seven mile hike. They were completely broken in and comfortable after that.I just took them on a two day backpacking trip. Traction on rocks and steep slopes was fantastic. I recovered from several potential falls, and the high ankle supports provided very good stability against roots and the like.It was over 90 degrees during both afternoons, but my feet didn't get too sweaty (at least, not any more sweaty than the rest of my apparel).Nearing the end of the journey, I would have to say that my feet were one of the l
