Heavy duty shoe
If you are looking for a hiking shoe with a stiff sole that will protect your feet from sharp and pointy things on the trail, Keen in general, and this model in particular, are the best I've found. They are a bit hot and heavy compared to a trail running shoe, but they are worth it when on spending a long day on a rocky trail.

Incredibly comfortable!
Used these shoes with Superfeet green inserts. Absolutely no break in was needed, and these were the most comfortable shoes or boots I have ever hiked in. We hiked 9 miles up and down hills, and my feet were only a bit tired at the end. My feet always have problems, until now. Great shoes. Can't recommend these any more highly.

Great Shoes!
