Almost Very Good

The ankle strap is poorly designed. It is difficult or impossible to get a snug fit because of the ankle strap. I've had the straps flop open while riding. I glued some additional velcro to the straps and that helps. But for the price of these sandals, one shouldn't have to resort to gluing velcro on.

Great Bike Footwear!

I bought a pair of Commuter IIs from another online retailer last fall. I purchased my regular shoe size (13) and they were much too long and very much too narrow. By the time I realized they were not a good fit I had worn them on a ride and the seller would not exchange them. I used this pair (Commuter IIs) for a short local tour and a 1200 mile ride to Texas this March. They worked well but never felt or lo

Great for street or trail

I bike both road and MTB. The cleats are recessed more on these sandals than most I've owned. I can walk normally in these sandals when not biking and the cleats don't make contact when walking on flat surfaces. (I own Time ATAC cleats. Owners of other cleats might differ.)

Great Cycling Sandal

Wear these for long distance adventure cycling as well as daily commute. Helps beat the Texas heat and are comfortable.

Very Nice Sandals

I had Shimano sandals that started to fall apart after many years. I have Keen walking sandals that I like so I wanted to try Keen cycling sandals. I like the protection of the toe caps on the Keens. F

New design not so good

I had a previous model which I really liked. Unfortunately there was a design defect where the sole was weak and easily broken. The good news is that this has been fixed in the current model. The old model was a perfect fit. The bad news is that they changed the size of the new model and it no longer fits. For biking you need a tight fit. The new sandal is extra wide and my foot slides back and forth every time I switch between pulling up and pushing down on the pedal.

sandal with lugs for bike pedal cleats

Very comfortable, hope the closure strap lasts and the velcro holds tight for the life of the sole. The rest of the sandal seems durable. They are too expensive though.

Nice mix of support and comfort

The toe area is a little too narrow for my foot. It seems to come to too narrow a width for the rest of the shoe. However, the shoes are very nice for ventilation and my feet stay very comfortable.

Most comfortable shoe ever!

I am extremely picky about footwear. Actually I hate wearing shoes. Most of the time I wear Keens due to the large toe box, but the latest styles have not been as comfortable for my ever spreadin

just in time

The shoes came in just a few day and arrived in time for a biking trip to Costa Rica. They were perfect for our rides - we both got a pair. We will use them for warm weather riding.
