The Keen Alamosa Mid women's hiking boots feature waterproof coverage for great protection in wet weather. Lightweight, breathable uppers help keep your feet cool during warm-weather hikes. Waterproof and breathable laminate blocks outside water while allowing moisture to escape; nubuck leather and nylon mesh uppers offer durability and breathability. Nylon mesh linings wick moisture away from feet. EVA footbeds are shaped to provide ample cushioning and arch support; can also accommodate orthotics. Dual-density midsoles use a mix of EVA and polyurethane to supply shock absorption and padding for all-day comfort. Supportive thermoplastic urethane shanks enhance torsional stability on uneven terrain. Drop-in heel inserts support the feet on impact, dissipate shock and help reduce the chance of twisting an ankle.
