The K2 Fastplant snowboard is a park and street destroyer. With a bamboo core and Jib Rocker, the skate-inspired Fastplant delivers unequaled pop, strength and durability. Versatile Jib Rocker has just enough rise in the tip and tail to create a loose, buttery feel on all types of terrain; board is 80% flat with 20% rocker. With Jib Rocker, the contact points stay well off the snow until engaged, eliminating edge hook while maintaining fun pop. Fastplant is symmetric from tip to tail for a balanced ride that's equally versatile whether ridden regular or switch. Hyper Progressive sidecut mellows out the transitions, leaving you with a predictable, all-around board; make ultrafine adjustments at any speed and in all conditions. Bamboo core is a key distinguishing factor; a skate-inspired layered ply laminate is wrapped in fiberglass for unparalleled strength and durability. Bamboo is a highly renewable resource that is easily grown without fertilizers, pesticides or artifical irrigation. Hybritaper construction reduces swing weight by tapering out the core in the tip and tail. A pre-loaded, camber-shaped Ollie Bar is placed in the center backbone section between the bindings to enhance ollie pop and pressing power. Carbon webs near binding area maximize ollie pop and control in all situations. Directional fiberglass laminates add torsional stiffness for improved edge hold and increased stability in off-axis landings. Boasting the highest molecular weight available, this sintered base provides fast, durable rides and retains wax longer for a consistent performance. .
