So far so good...
After a few times you learn better how to mount to different objects and it holds stable on everything I've tried. One thing to note is if there is a breaking point on how far you can bend it. A ball may pop out of a socket if you go too far but it pops right back in and I've seen no lasting ill-effects from it.

Love this little guy!
Living in Colorado there are plenty of things to photograph while hiking. This gives the opportunity to get shots from angles and places that a normal tripod just cannot. You've got to get creative though. I love that it's so easy to level out on uneven surfaces also.
