About Idaho

Idaho (ID) is nicknamed "The Gem State" and has a land area of 82,747 square miles which makes it the 11th largest state in the U.S. Its largest city is Boise which is also the capital city, and its highest point is Borah Peak at 12,662 feet. Idaho joined the Union in 1890 as the 43rd state, and is blessed with many great trails, including Lower Meadow Creek, Iron Creek to Sawtooth Lake and Grand Sawtooths Loop.
