How to Buy Cheap Plane Tickets

Akin Hos: http://www.sxc.hu/

Most people would love to save money on airplane tickets when they are planning outdoor trips and adventures. When you save money on airplane tickets, you will have more money to spend on activities you want to do such as hiking, boating or camping. Take advantage of a few simple tricks that will help you to save money and stress when purchasing airline tickets for your next outdoor adventure.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step 1
Fly midweek. Most people like to travel on the weekend. By choosing to fly during the week you can save money. You will also be less likely to run into large crowds at the airport.
Step 2
Consider purchasing round-trip tickets. Even if you are only flying one way, you might want to consider purchasing a round-trip ticket. One-way tickets can be much more expensive than round-trip tickets, and by checking the price of round-trip tickets for your flight, you might be able to save some money.
Step 3
Stay away from busy holidays. If you need to travel for outdoor excursions during the holidays, avoid the busy days. Flying on the Sundays before and after Thanksgiving, for example, is going to be more expensive than flying on the holiday itself. By traveling on holidays or on off-peak times (i.e. weekends), you can save a lot of cash.
Step 4
Book early. Purchasing your plane tickets in advance will usually save you money. Purchase your tickets at least two weeks before your flight. Doing this will help you avoid last-minute booking prices, as airlines will increase prices as flights near capacity.
