Removing a Gatorade Stain

Things You’ll Need:
  • Spot remover
  • Laundry detergent
  • Stain stick
  • Vinegar
  • Club Soda
  • Iron
  • Towel
  • Cloths
Step 1
Pretreat the area. Using a clean cloth, douse the stain with a spot remover combined with water. If the item is clothing, pretreat with a dab of laundry detergent or a spot remover stick.
Step 2
Improvise if you don't have a spot remover. Use a half vinegar and water solution or club soda to pretreat the area.
Step 3
Use a clean, dry cloth to blot the area. Start at the outer edges of the stain and work inward. Continue blotting until the stain is removed. If the stain is on clothing and doesn't come out after using this method, rinse the fabric and apply ammonia to the stain. Then cover the stain with a towel and iron the towel, periodically checking the fabric to see if the stain is gone.
