Instructions for Ozark Trail Tent
Ozark Trail offers several different tents and various other equipment for backpackers, hikers and camping enthusiasts. The basic Ozark Trail Dome tent is large enough to sleep two adults comfortably and can be set up in minutes. The Ozark Trail company recommends assembling the tent at home in order to ensure that all of the necessary components are included and avoid problems when setting up a tent in the dark or inclement weather.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Things You'll Need:
  • Ozark Trail Dome tent Hammer
  • Ozark Trail Dome tent
  • Hammer
Step 1
Locate a flat level area to set the tent up on. Remove the tent from the bag and unfold it with the top of the tent facing up. Assemble the shock corded tent poles. There should be four long tent poles and one shorter pole for the rainfly.
Step 2
Slide one of the long tent poles through each of the four sleeves located on the top of the tent. Once all of the tent poles have been inserted into the sleeves, push the ends of the poles into the rings located on the base of the tent next to the end of each sleeve. You will need to flex the tent poles in order to attach them to the rings.
Step 3
Locate the clips on the body of the tent that line up with the tent poles. Attach these clips to the poles which will make the tent take shape.
Step 4
Slide the short tent pole into the sleeve on the rainfly. Drape the rainfly over the tent so that the pole is located over the door of the tent. Attach each end of the pole into grommets located on two of the tent pole sleeves attached to the tent.
Step 5
Locate the hooks attached to each corner of the rainfly and secure them to the rings located at the base of the tent.
Step 6
Hammer a stake into the ring located at each corner of the tent to keep it in place.
