Using a pet jogger is a useful way to take your favorite companion with you during outdoor trips. Numerous products are available in the market that cater to animal owners who enjoy jogging and carrying their pets along for the exercise. Pet strollers for jogging tend to have more features, such as durable wheels and better maneuverability, compared with regular strollers. Choose wisely based on your personal preference and qualities that highlight safety and comfort.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step 1
Select a pet stroller that is designed specifically for jogging. These strollers are built with capabilities for jogging and are typically sturdier and safer compared with regular walking pet strollers.
Step 2
Use pet strollers with the appropriate size dimensions that fit your pet comfortably. Compartment size is measured by length, height and width. Match the weight capacity of the stroller to your pet's weight.
Step 3
Pay attention to safety features. Choose strollers with safety belts that attach to your pet's collar to keep the pet inside. Also consider your own pet's comfort. Pick strollers with a well-ventilated mesh opening to protect your animal while also keeping the bugs out during your jog.
Step 4
Consider storage capabilities. Many pet strollers are collapsible and can be folded easily for storage and transport. Also look into additional features such as a storage basket to carry items like treats, water and keys.

Tips & Warnings

If possible, try jogging alongside your pet with just a leash; the animal may need or appreciate the exercise.
