Flow is a complete snowboarding company, manufacturing boards, boots and bindings. Flow was the first to develop a binding that combined the ease of use of a step-in binding with the feel for the board that's common with a traditional strap-style binding. Their binding line incorporates the same technology over 15 different bindings. The supportive highback uses a high -tensile-strength cable to provide strength and quick in and out, reducing the time a boarder sits in the snow buckling bindings at the top of the lift.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:
  • Boots
Step 1
Pull the heel lever on the highback down and away from you.
Step 2
With your boot inside the binding, lean down and pull the ratchet lock up toward you on both the front and rear ratchet.
Step 3
Gently pull on the power strap so the ratchet straps slide through the ratchet assembly.

Tips & Warnings

When getting into and out of Flow bindings, dig the toe edge of the board into the hill facing uphill, not downhill, as with traditional bindings.
