Ogio International is based out of Utah. The company manufactures sports gear and specializes in backpacks and golf bags. Ideal for daylong and week-long backpacking expeditions, Ogio backpacks are sleek, compact and made with "excess" features including a laptop computer compartment, wheels, organizer panels, insulated cooler pockets and oversized zipper pulls. Choose from a variety of designs including those for backpackers and everyday commuters. Before taking your Ogio backpack into the office, be sure to properly clean away the trail dust.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:
  • Water
  • Mild dish detergent
  • Sponge, toothbrush or cloth
Step 1
Mix 1 cup of warm water and 1 tsp. of mild dish detergent in a small bowl. Alternatively, mix 1 cup of warm water and 1 tsp. of non-lanolin laundry soap flakes; use this alternative option if your Ogio backpack is treated with a water repellent. Mix by hand until sudsing occurs.
Step 2
Wet an abrasive sponge, toothbrush or cloth with the mixture. Work a firm-bristled toothbrush along seams and edges where dirt can become trapped after a long backpacking trip.
Step 3
Spot clean the bag. Target dirt spots and areas where sand and debris are trapped within the fibers of the canvas. Repeat as needed.
Step 4
Lay the backpack outdoors on a flat surface to air dry in the sun.

Tips & Warnings

Your cleaning utensil should be wet, but not soaking to the point of run-off.

Save the hang tag that was on your Ogio backpack when your purchased it. Care information for your specific backpack is printed on the tag.

Do not machine wash your Ogio backpack. The backpack could lose its shape.
