Renting an RV allows travelers to camp in style without the expense of owning a motor home. Camping World, with locations throughout the U.S., which operates like a car rental agency, has several types of motor homes for rent. These range from class C standard-size RVs that sleep four people to full-size RVs that sleep up to 10 people. There is also an option to rent a class A motor home. Camping World has a RV rental reservation department reachable by phone.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step 1
Determine which RV you want to rent. You can view the specific RV choices online at CampingWorld.com or by visiting your local Camping World rental center. Not all Camping World locations have RV rentals. Locations can be found at CampingWorld.com or by calling 1-877-297-3687.
Step 2
Reserve your RV by calling 1-877-297-3687. RV reservation agents are available by phone Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. If you are at the rental location, you can speak directly with a rental department agent to make your reservation.
Step 3
Provide the necessary information to the Camping World Rental agent to complete the reservation. You will need to know which location you want to pick up the RV at, drop-off location, travel dates and how many people will be traveling in the RV.

Tips & Warnings

By clicking on the "RV Rental" tab at the Camping World website, you can check for availability of RVs at your preferred pick-up location. This search will also give you an estimated daily price for the rental.

Make your reservations early, at least a couple of months in advance, especially during the busy summer months.
