Sportz Truck Tent III Instructions

Sportz Truck Tent III Instructions
The Sportz Truck Tent III allows you to convert the bed of your pickup truck into a tent. It's a versatile and useful way to use your truck for camping if you don't have or don't want a camper top. The truck tent is lightweight and easy to put up, so you don't have to worry about carrying a heavy load when you're heading out for a camping trip or spending a lot of time setting the tent up once you get to your campsite.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step 1
Put the tailgate of the truck down. Unroll the tent and lay it out in the bed of the truck, making sure that the door of the tent is facing the open tailgate.
Step 2
Stretch out the three elastic straps on the door side of the tent. Hook them to the bumper of the truck with the hooks on the ends of the straps.
Step 3
Stretch the three elastic straps on the right side of the tent over the right side of the truck bed. Hook the straps under the side of the truck. The middle strap goes under the wheel well, and the other two hook under the front and back portions of the truck. Repeat the process on the left side of the truck.
Step 4
Assemble the tent poles. Slide the first pole through the pole guide, starting at the back corner of the truck. Slide the second pole through the pole guide, starting at the other back corner. Slide the third pole through the center guide, going side-to-side across the truck bed. Insert the ends of the poles in the pockets at each end.
Step 5
Insert the fourth pole into the guide inside the tent at the front above the door. Feed the pole though the tent and insert it in the pocket at the back of the tent.
