Folding Instructions for a Firm-n-Fold Portable Table

massage image by fderib from Fotolia.com

Firm-n-Fold tables are massage tables designed for travel. The tables are sturdy when erect and can be folded in several steps. There are several different designs for different massage positions. Some designs are in a sitting position while others are flat or at a slight incline. All of the tables have a padded headrest that is open in the middle for lying facedown. The tables come in different colors and use a thick, padded surface for comfort.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step 1
Unscrew the adjustment knob on the legs of the table. Push the legs inward until they are in the shortest possible position. Screw the adjustment knobs to secure the legs in place.
Step 2
Slide the metal locking sleeve upward to remove it from the leg joints. Do this on all four joints. Some models have a locking pin rather than a sleeve. If the table uses a locking pin, remove the pins from all four leg joints.
Step 3
Fold the legs on both sides of the table. The legs will fit under the body of the table in a flat manner.
Step 4
Fold the table in half and button the handle to secure the table for carry. Some of the tables have a handle permanently attached. For these tables, simply flip the handle upward and secure the latch to hold the table together.
Step 5
Lift the table at the handle and ensure it is secure for transporting the table.

Tips & Warnings

Take your time when folding the table. The joints should bend easily into position, but do not force them.

The leg joints must be secured with the pin or sleeve when you unfold the table. If the joints are not secured, the table may collapse with additional weight.
