Greatland tents are manufactured by Northpole Limited. Various tent models are available, including the Greatland snap pole tent, which provides campers a sturdy shelter that is also easy to assemble. When setting up your tent, a campsite situated on an even ground in an open area is most ideal. Follow all set-up instructions with care to ensure a safe and stable outdoor shelter.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:
  • Tent
  • Pole set (tent frame and rainfly poles)
  • Rainfly
  • Stake set (ten 7-inch steel)
  • Guy rope
  • Gear Loft
Step 1
Select a smooth, level site and spread your Greatland tent with the door flap unzipped.
Step 2
Pull out all the tent corners and stand inside the unzipped doorway.
Step 3
Lift and raise the center hub from the inside; the pole joints will snap into place as you do this. Ensure all poles are fully extended and locked into place.
Step 4
Stand inside the doorway of the tent and grab the two lower rods at the base of the hub. Pull both rods down until the safety lock snaps into place.
Step 5
Step out of the tent and begin to attach the rainfly by sliding the end of the rainfly pole into one of the pole pockets. The pole pockets are located on the underside of your Greatland snap pole tent.
Step 6
Flex the pole and insert the other pole end into the opposite pole pocket that is diagonal from the the first pole end.
Step 7
Tie the fabric ties around the fly pole and drape the rainfly over your tent. Hook the 4 S-hooks onto the base connector's outer loop.
Step 8
Wrap the nylon fasteners located on the underside of fly around each pole. This secures the rainfly to your tent.
Step 9
Gather the stakes and drive the stakes through the webbing loops on base of tent.
Step 10
Secure the guy lines by extending the lines to the ground and staking through their loops.
Step 11
Add any accessories that came with your tent. You can attach the gear loft with its S-hooks to the fabric loops inside the tent ceiling. Your Greatland snap pole tent is now fully assembled.

Tips & Warnings

Assemble your tent at home at least once before attempting to use it outdoors.
