Cyclists who travel a fair distance to cycle trails or explore remote areas can use a Bell Sports BSI bike rack to mount and transport their bicycle. The rack is easy to mount and offers security straps so the bike remains attached to your vehicle even along rough and bumpy terrain. Additional tools and assembly are not necessary. The rack is durable and light weight enough for one person to handle.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step 1
Pull the two tubes located at the "bottom" of your Bell bike rack open.
Step 2
Position the back arm against the trunk of your car. The back arm is shorter than the front arm.
Step 3
Hold the front arm against the bumper of your car. You have done this correctly if the bicycle holders face you and not the trunk. Remember, your bicycle will rest on the holders, so they must face away from your car.
Step 4
Secure the bike rack. Open your trunk so you can pass the two rear bike straps inside. Hook the straps using the two clips to the bottom edge of your trunk and then close the door. Tighten the straps to secure the Bell bike rack in place.
Step 5
Fasten the last two straps by hooking them inside the lip of your trunk door. Pull the straps until they are taut.

Tips & Warnings

The Bell bike rack must be parallel to the ground.
