Timbuk2 is a manufacturer of messenger bags, duffel bags and accessories for a person on the go. Timbuk2 products are typically made of nylon, coated nylon or heavy military grade ballistic nylon. Timbuk2 also produces a seat mounted storage bag. This bag is suitable for small items such as a wallet, watch, change, GPS, phone or other accessories one might need on a daily adventure.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:
  • Timbuk2 bike bag
  • Mountain bike
Step 1
Stand at the rear or side of your mountain bike. Locate the seat support brace on the bottom of the bike seat. These will typically be two bars that extend from the front of the seat to the rear springs.
Step 2
Pull the mounting strap on the Timbuk2 bike pack open. The mounting strap will feature a strip of attached Velcro that secures to a mating length of Velcro on the pack.
Step 3
Hold the pack beneath the seat so that the top of the pack is against the seat support bars and springs. The zipper opening should be facing away from the bike.
Step 4
Feed the attachment strap through the seat support bars. Pull the strap down onto the mating Velcro to secure the pack to the seat.
Step 5
Periodically check the pack and attachment strap during the ride to make sure it is secure.

Tips & Warnings

When you remove the Timbuk2 bike seat pack from its packaging examine the pack to make sure the Velcro attachment strap and zippers are in good working order.
