Knowing how to mount your Marker ski bindings gives you the opportunity to do your own work without having to rely on a ski shop to prepare your equipment for you. You'll be able to experiment with different skis more easily to find the right equipment for your style of skiing. Only a few tools are necessary.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:
  • Marker binding
  • Skis
  • Ski boot
  • Marker or pencil
  • Drill and drill bits
  • Screwdriver
Step 1
Find the mid sole mark on the ski. Most skis mark the mid sole with a small line engraved into or marked onto the top edge of the ski, perpendicular to the length of the ski.
Step 2
Place the center of your ski boot onto the mid sole mark and slide the toe clip of the binding onto it.
Step 3
Remove the boot from the ski without moving the toe clip and mark the position of toe clip's screw holes with a pencil or marker.
Step 4
Drill guide holes for the screws with a power drill. The instructions that came with your Marker bindings will specify the correct drill bit size and the depth of the holes.
Step 5
Screw in the toe part of the binding using a screwdriver and the screws that came with the Marker bindings.
Step 6
Insert the boot into the binding's toe clip, then clip the boot into the heel portion of the clip. Take the boot off without moving the heel binding. Mark the screw holes, drill them and mount as you did for the toe clip.
Step 7
Repeat for your second ski.
