How to Make Buffalo Fish Bait

Buffalo fish are bottom feeders like catfish and carp, and like these other filter fish, they will eat almost anything. Every buffalo fisherman has his own buffalo bait, so you will have to experiment to determine the perfect formula for your own fishing.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:
  • Cornflakes
  • Bowls
  • Spoon
  • Measuring cup
  • Vanilla
  • Pepper
  • Microwave
  • Refrigerator storage container
Step 1
Pour cornflakes into a bowl and crush them into a moderately fine powder.
Step 2
Measure 4 to 5 cups of crushed cornflakes into a second bowl. Add 1/4 cup of vanilla extract and add a half teaspoon of black pepper. Mix the ingredients together.
Step 3
Microwave the mixture on medium heat for six minutes. Leave it standing for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Pinch the mixture into small balls for baiting. Store the balls in a refrigerator storage container until you need them.
