How to Apply for a Visa to Thailand

How to Apply for a Visa to Thailand
Thailand is a great destination for outdoor enthusiasts--activities abound, from hiking to kayaking and everything in between. Travelers wishing to partake in one of these activities may need to apply for a visa in advance, depending on their nationality and travel plans. Americans who intend to stay in Thailand as a tourist for 30 days or fewer do not need a visa. If you intend to stay in the country for longer than 30 days, tourist visas are easily obtained from the Thai embassy in Washington, D.C.
