How to Pay for Meals With the Disney World Meal Plan
If you are staying at a Disney resort, you can purchase Disney Dining Plans with their Magic Your Way guest passes. A variety of Dining Plan options are available, including a Snack and Quick Service plan. This plan allows your busy family to grab a quick, healthy meal and get on your way, exploring the park. A determined number of meals or snack options are available from many Disney World park locations, accommodating your active vacation. You can save as much as 40 percent on meals with a dining package, leaving you more money for park activities.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step 1
Purchase a Disney Dining package from the ticket office at your Disney Resort. You may need to show your reservation confirmation, as only Disney World Resort guests are eligible for Disney Dining Plans.
Step 2
Receive your Dining Plan card, which will be electronically loaded with the meals for each family member each day of your vacation.
Step 3
Consult the brochure correlated to your package choice, available at the ticket office, which outlines the restaurants and locations you can visit with your card. Alternatively, look for signs or placards at your restaurant of choice to indicate its participation in the Dining Plan.
Step 4
Present your card when you order your meal and tell the cashier which members of your party are using the card. Only family members on the card can use the meal points.
Step 5
Retrieve your card and a receipt from the cashier. The receipt will remind you how many of each type of meal you have available.
