How to Clean a Sigg Water Bottle

Your SIGG water bottle is like a loyal companion. You take it everywhere you run, walk, hike or bike. Since it gets so much use, you'll want to wash it regularly. Washing a SIGG bottle is no more difficult than washing the other dishes in your sink.

Things You’ll Need:

Scrub brush Dish detergent
Scrub brush

Step 1

Take the top off and disassemble any parts. Some bottles, such as Kids and Active models, feature seals that can be broken down further after taking off the top.

Step 2

Soak your scrub brush in warm, soapy water. Scrub the interior of the bottle. Most SIGG bottles are tall and slender, so a scrub brush is more effective than a sponge.

Step 3

Clean the lid and seal with soap and water using the brush or a sponge.

Step 4

Rinse the bottle and lid with hot water.

Step 5

Leave the top off and let the bottle air dry in a dish strainer. Store it with the top off.
