How to Buy Airline Tickets in Peru
Peru is a Spanish-speaking nation located between Brazil, Colombia, Bolivia and Chile in the southwestern portion of South America. It offers a wide variety of outdoor activities such as hiking the ruins of Machu Picchu in Cuzco, touring the Peruvian Amazon Rain Forest or walking the capital city of Lima. Lima International Airport is the central hub of airline travel within Peru that offers domestic and international flights daily.

If you have access to the internet in Peru, purchasing airline tickets is much easier than using a travel agent or going to straight to an airline. But, this article will help you navigate purchasing airline tickets without internet access.

Step 1
There are 26 airlines providing domestic and international flights in Peru. See Reference 2 for their addresses and phone numbers.

Call the airline directly or use the airport travel agency (http://www.condorviajes.com/) located in the Lima International Airport to purchase tickets.

Find an airline office or travel agency using a phone book or business directory.
Step 2
Purchases the airline tickets over the phone or in person. Try to buy your tickets at least a few days in advance.
Step 3
Check to see if you need to pick up a hard copy of the ticket before going to the airport. You may be able to pick up your ticket at the airline counter at the airport.
Step 4
Reconfirm your flight 72 hours in advance to make sure your seat is reserved.
