How to Machine Wash Snowboard Gloves
Snowboarding is a popular sport for outdoor enthusiasts. After you hit the slopes, you'll need to launder your snowboarding gloves. The most important considerations when laundering snowboard gloves is water temperature and cycle setting. As with any garment, it is best to always refer to the manufacturer's directions and launder and dry your snowboarding gloves accordingly.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:
  • Detergent
  • Iron
  • Towel
Step 1
Machine wash the snowboard gloves in warm water. Washing machine temperature settings can vary, so find a temperature setting near 104° F/40° C.
Step 2
Add powder or liquid detergent. Special detergents are not needed; however, always refer to the manufacturer's directions before choosing a detergent.
Step 3
Set the machine to the gentle cycle.
Step 4
Make sure the snowboard gloves are put through a rinse cycle.
Step 5
Place the snowboard gloves in the dryer. Use a warm or medium heat seating.
Step 6
Remove the snowboard gloves from the dryer.
Step 7
Steam the snowboard gloves. Place a towel on top of the gloves and iron the towel using a warm setting.

Tips & Warnings

 
Not all snowboard gloves should be laundered in a washing machine.
 
Never use bleach as this can damage your snowboard gloves.
