How to Travel the Burning Steppes Into the Badlands

How to Travel the Burning Steppes Into the Badlands
World of Warcraft is one of the most popular online role-playing games. It has numerous kingdoms and lands that you can travel to as you complete quests and increase the level of your character. A common task for players who have achieved a character level between 35 and 45 is to travel the Burning Steppes into the Badlands. Located south of Loch Modan, the Badlands is a desert area of red rocks that is known for mining. As of 2009, traveling into the Badlands was the only way for a character to pass by land from the Kingdom of Stormwind to Khaz Modan and Lordaeron.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:
  • Player Rating of 35 to 45
  • Player Rating of 35 to 45
Step 1
Travel to the Burning Steppes to start your journey to the Badlands. If you are an Alliance player and over level 50, you may want to travel to the Burning Steppes via the Redridge Mountains, located to the south. If you are a Horde player, you will want to get there via the Searing Gorge, located to the north, through Blackrock Mountain.
Step 2
Proceed north from the Burning Steppes to the Ruins of Thaurissan. The ruins are northeast of the Pillar of Ash and north-northwest of Dreadmaul Rock. You will know that you are in the right area when you see a forked river of lava that is flowing just north of the ruins. Flame Crest is also located north of the ruins.
Step 3
Travel on the pathway through Blackrock Mountain to the Searing Gorge. Proceed southeast after you reach the loch and go through the Grizzlepaw ridge.
Step 4
Go through the valley that you see ahead and veer to the right. Ahead of you will be orange-brown rock formations that indicate the start of the Badlands.
