How to Redeem easyJet Points for Flights

EasyJet is a United Kingdom-based airline and one of Europe's biggest budget airlines. The company flies to 27 countries around the world, including major destinations like London and Berlin. Like many airlines, easyJet offers a way for loyal customers to earn points that can be redeemed for flights with the company to any of your favorite destinations.

Step 1

Earn easyJet points. Charge your bills and shopping to your easyJet Mastercard credit card, offered through Citi Bank UK. As of October 2009, customers will earn 30 easyJet miles for every £10 charged for easyJet purchases, including flights and retail purchases made while in-flight on an easyJet trip. You also can earn three easyJet miles for every £10 worth of transactions made in the UK and five easyJet miles for every £10 spent outside the UK.

Step 2

Save your easyJet points and calculate their value. Your monthly easyJet Mastercard statement will outline the current point savings on your account. As of October 2009, each easyJet mile is worth one pence when redeemed for easyJet purchases, or half a pence when redeemed for cash.

Step 3

Redeem easyJet points for flights. Log on to easyJet's Web site (see Resources) and make a purchase. You may purchase a flight, as well as an easyJet-affiliated service such as a vacation package, airport parking or car rental.

Step 4

Use your easyJet Mastercard credit card to pay for your easyJet flight. The value of your saved easyJet points will be redeemed automatically to cover as much of the easyJet flight purchase as possible. If you have more points than needed to cover the purchase, the remaining easyJet points will stay in your points account.

Step 5

Review your easyJet Mastercard statement the business day following your easyJet purchase. You will see the value of your easyJet points used credited to your account.

Tips & Warnings

Your easyJet points also may be redeemed as cash once you have used your easyJet Mastercard for 12 months.
