How to Find Cheap Hotels

How to Find Cheap Hotels
After paying for flights or gas for transportation to reach your destination, it's important to find a hotel that you can afford. Finding cheap hotels can be done in a few minutes with today's technology. Finding a cheap hotel is easy, no matter where you are, where you're going or how many people you're with.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step 1
Visit the Cheap Tickets website (see Resources).
Step 2
Check the "Hotel" box in the search area. Type in the city or airport that is closet to the hotel you wish to book. You can also search by address if you are within the United States or Canada.
Step 3
Enter your check-in and check-out dates. In the drop-down menus, choose the number of guests and the number of rooms you will be booking.
Step 4
Click on "Search." Allow the website to search through the available options.
Step 5
Select the "Best Values" tab in order to find the best values for the price. Take note of the customer ratings and read reviews. Each hotel description will also let you know whether or not pets are accepted, as well as show you the amenities.
Step 6
View the offer provided by Cheap Tickets at the bottom of the hotel description. Click on "View all promotions and terms" in order to find more information on possible deals.
Step 7
Book the hotel online (if the option is available) or by calling the hotel and making reservations.

Tips & Warnings

Reserve only the smallest amount of rooms needed in order to save cash. If possible, put two people to each bed. Checking hotel prices on weekdays is likely to land you a better deal than trying to reserve on weekends. Book at least two to three weeks before your stay in order to get the best deals.
