I use this box fishing on a raft, camping and on trips to the ocean. It is a great sounding box...just what I wanted. It isn't as loud as some might like, but I use it for background music, not enough to drive the elk up into the hills. While a rechargeable battery might be useful, It is more functional when out of the country to just toss in some new double A's. for fifty bucks, a great deal. Next purchase, though, will be the Bluetooth Bose sound box for $300!

I use it on frequent kayak and canoe trips or just hanging out on the back porch grilling. Great sound quality and it can really take a beating. Its completely waterproof. It can also hold keys phone and wallet inside to keep dry.
