Oh, the Gore!
I am convinced that, depending on your budget, these are the only shoe covers worth the coin. I've wasted money on booties from Sugoi, Sugino, and used the Pearl Izumi toe covers(the biggest waste of money, period.)That said, these were my request for a Christmas gift last year. I have worn them through hour long rides in downpours and my feet have stayed dry. They work really well in temps down in the low 30s but, below that well, cold is cold. If it's 13 degrees it doesn't matter what's on, your feet are going to feel the bite of winter. They are a little bulky but, so what? They work well with plain shoes(vans, adidas, New Balance running shoes, not hiking boots) as well as cycling shoes too!
