Well designed tool with end-user in mind
Gerber took the best of what others had done, and improved on or eliminated the down sides of their peer providers, from quality of material used and ergonomic layout to a locking component to blades and other tools in the device. Very well thought through- from design to bench to market. The alternative is to carry an entire toolbox with you instead.

Solid Quality
This product makes the grade for quality, functionality, solid construction and good design. These features make the unit heavy, but not unmanageable. Excellent equipment
Great for use in camping/hiking. Nicely balanced, and I like the rubberized grip on the handle. Spring-loaded instruments (i.e., pliers, scissors) are a plus. Only drawback is the middle tools on each side are a bit difficult to fish out in the beginning. Tough as nails, durable. Comes with a nylon carrying sheath for belt or pack attachment.

Great tool, great price
This tool has all the great features, at a great price. I love that its a Gerber because they last forever. I like the fact that it comes with a nice sheith too. The knife blade and all tools stay locked open while in use too.Too bad that it has Bear Grylls name on it. I am not a fan of him in anyway. Just wish I could remove his name from the tool is all
