Slippery mat
I thought this mat woud be comparable to a Jade Yoga rubber mat but this mat was very slippery and my hands would not stay still on the mat during Ashtanga Yoga. I agree with one of the reviews that it had an unpleasant smell that did not go away after a few months. I returned it for a Jade Yoga mat, which I love, is not slippery, nor smelly.

Not a good mat
I primarily do Vinyasa yoga. I found this mat to be slippery I downward dog, and most standing poses. It is really heavy, and got dirty after the first use. It also smells very strongly of chemicals. I returned it after 10 days use and got the Hugger Mugger natural mat. Non slip, even during its first use!

This Mat is Awesome!
Thihs is the best cushioning , most comfortable Mat i've ever used! Great traction as well.
