Ready for big rock adventures or sport climbing, the Five-Ten Blackwing climbing shoes feature sticky outsoles for great grip and a soft, wicking lining for lasting comfort. Synthetic uppers offer flexible, durable comfort; padded tongues relieve pressure on tops of feet and microfiber fleece linings wick away sweat. Molded heel cup fits snugly. Stealth® Mystique rubber outsoles grip nearly every surface and provide good edging. 2 rip-and-stick straps on the Five-Ten Blackwing climbing shoes provide an adjustable fit and secure closure. Fantastic rock shoe

Another great shoe from FiveTen, similar to the Jet 7 but easier to put on, similar to the Dragon. I wear an 8.5 Anasazi, still have an old pair of Jet 7's in 8.5, but had to go to 9.5 for the Blackwing. Still fits well, heel is snug and close, no baggy spots like the Anasazi. I use them on overhangs, anywhere I need a good heel hook, and very technical slabs with tiny edges. Shoe can't smear well. High end climbing shoe, hope REI starts to carry more high end shoes from FiveTen
