Nice Skis
Was an inexpensive start to XCountry. Glides well and lightweight. Nice looking...but the binding clip fell apart after one use. I was able to manipulate it back into place but I think I will be buying better bindings. Overall nice skis for the buck.

Beautiful skis. i landed up though switching to a metal edge ski. My friend took these and absolutely loves everything about them!

I wouldn't have REI personnel fit skis.
I had skis and poles fitted by personnel at Bloomington REI. Have been told by two separate cross country teachers (one of them from REI) that skis and poles were too short. Also, they

Good Value for Beginners
I was looking for an inexpensive pair of skis to get me started and these haven't disappointed me. I particularly like the ease of use of the bindings and the cost was good as part of a package. I think they're a good value for the beginner, but it's probably likely that an experienced skier might find them wanting.
