Fall Lake Campground is in northern Minnesota on the shores of Fall Lake. With direct access to the Boundary Water Canoe Area Wilderness, Fall Lake Campground is a dream destination for canoeists and kayakers.

Camping Season

Fall Lake Campground is open from early May to Oct. 5.

Campground Office

A campground manager is available on site. The campground office contains a small store with limited camping supplies, snacks, firewood and ice. Office displays feature replicas of artifacts discovered during archeological digs on the campground.

Camping

Recently renovated in 2005, the campground features showers and flush toilets, pull-through sites, a playground, hiking trails and a platform overlooking the marsh for nature watching. Sites include tent platforms, fire rings and picnic tables.

Boating

Fall Lake Campground has a boat ramp with access to Fall Lake and direct access to the Boundary Water Canoe Area Wilderness. Canoe rentals are available

Fees

As of October 2009, prices for tent-only sites range from $14 to $17. Fees for standard nonelectric RV sites are $17. Standard electric RV sites range from $14 to $17. Fees for the large-group sites range from $60 to $75. All prices are on a per-night basis.

Handicapped-Accessible Facilities

Handicapped-accessible facilities available at Fall Lake Campground include boat ramps, camping sites, hiking trails, picnic areas, restrooms and swimming facilities.
