Location
Maple Grove is located approximately 20 miles northwest of the Twin Cities in Hennepin County. If traveling from Minneapolis, choose from a variety of freeways that include Interstates 94/694, 494 and U.S. Route 169 to reach the city.
People
Maple Grove has been expanding rapidly since 1990. In 2000, over 50,000 people called the city home, and that number continues to grow.
Attractions
Visitors looking to shop or eat have a wide array of options to choose from in Maple Grove. The most notable destination is The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes located off of I-94; it's home to over 65 upscale shops and restaurants.
Parks and Recreation
Maple Grove is home to three major parks that are a part of the Three Rivers Park District: Fish Lake Regional Park, Elm Creek Regional Park and Clifton E. French Regional Park. The Luce Line Trail also passes through Maple Grove, and it's a popular location to walk, jog, in-line skate and bike.
