About Universal Studios
Universal Studios is a theme park based on movies and TV shows. Both children and adults can enjoy a day outdoors at Universal Studios. Universal Studios has amusement park and thrill rides, shows and tours.

Locations

There are two Universal Studios locations in the United States. One is in Universal City, California, and the other is in Orlando, Florida.

Admission

Tickets can be purchased either online or at the gates. The ticket prices can vary starting at around $70 as of 2009, but there are usually online ticket specials for multiple days.

Shows

There are different seasonal exhibits that include shows, such as the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood. You can also get tickets to The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, which films at Stage 1 of the Universal Studios lot.

Rides

The rides at Universal Studios are based on popular movies and shows, such as Men in Black, The Simpsons, E.T., Shrek and Jimmy Neutron. There are thrill rides recommended for adults and teens as well as rides for the kids.

Tours

While visiting Universal Studios, you can take a tour bus that drives you through various movie sets.
